I saw this young guy two years ago at the Sam Ash drum-off, which he won. He had the most amazing fluidity,power,and dynamics that I have seen in some time. He is now playing with a gospel group Israel Houghton. There is a live DVD out that is just amazing. Go to www.learngospelmusic.com they have a gospel drummers forum there(not quite as good as this). Nonetheless, there is a thread there Chris Coleman video check this cat out!! PT.

Hey guys,

I haven't written here before but I've been reading the posts for a while. I saw the post on Chris Coleman and thought I should write.

Chris is one of the instructors at the Atlanta Institute of Music which I am attending. I had him for technique and reading level 1 and I think he also teaches soloing in level 3. He is not only a monster on the kit but a really cool person too. Very laid back. He has some unbelievably fast hands and feet. He also can read his butt off too, which was very impressive.

We watched part of that dvd the other day in class and it was pretty cool, although we didn't get to the solo part so it was nice to see him go off like that.

Anyway, just thought I would comment since I kinda know Chris.
